Job Title: Machinist Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team at Vulcan Compression Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing machine tools and parts, setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools, and documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Requirements:

  • Machinist Trade Certification
  • Machinist Red Seal Endorsement
  • Experience with automatic lathes, boring machines, cylindrical grinders, drill presses, engine lathes, lapping machines, milling machines, sawing machines, and surface grinders
  • Ability to use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
