Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Vision Centre team as an Optical Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support in their vision care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the booking of eye appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Help maintain the standards of the Vision Centre, including filing, cleaning, and organization.
  • Provide assistance to customers with their vision care requests, including choosing frames, accessories, and repairs.
  • Aid in communication between vision parties, including Opticians, customers, and doctors.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our advanced POS system.
  • Maintain layaway and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform technical measurements of eyewear.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
