At Scotiabank, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Total Wealth Planner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning process and be able to provide expert advice to high net worth clients.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end goals-based financial plans by gathering key data, preparing and analyzing financial plans, and presenting strategies to clients.

The successful candidate will also act as a subject matter expert and champion for financial planning within the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gathering key information about clients through deep discovery and analysis
  • Preparing and reviewing financial plans to ensure they meet client needs
  • Presenting financial plans and related strategies to clients
  • Identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and drive business results

The Sr. Total Wealth Planner will also collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure an integrated approach to financial planning and provide local software support and advice as needed.

Requirements
  • University degree
  • Accredited financial planning designation (CFP)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a high net worth financial planner

The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, inter-personal skills, and the ability to build relationships and trust quickly.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
