About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Food Service Attendant to join our team at BRIJ HOSPITALITY CORPORATION. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory management.
  • Packaging and preparing take-out food with attention to detail and quality.
  • Portioning and wrapping foods to meet customer expectations.
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items to order.
  • Serving customers promptly and efficiently at counters or buffet tables.
  • Restocking refrigerators and salad bars to maintain freshness and variety.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Removing kitchen garbage and trash in a timely manner.
  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.


Work Environment
As a Food Service Attendant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You must be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, initiative, and dependability to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train provided to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) to handle heavy tasks.
  • Excellent client focus, interpersonal skills, reliability, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30-35 hours per week.


Salary Information
Our estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to support the well-being and growth of our employees.
