As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our products are displayed and merchandised to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, pricing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products
  • Ensuring the department is ready for business at all times
  • Implementing and adhering to our Customer Service Policy
  • Adhering to Company policies and procedures and government regulations concerning health & safety, sanitation, security, etc.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Supporting the Meat Manager and directing activities pertaining to department staff, including hiring, coaching, and training
  • Supporting the Meat Manager for ensuring department standards
  • Supporting overall store operations, including store opening and closing

Requirements:

  • Meat experience with excellent product knowledge and rotation and merchandising experience
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period of 4-8 hours, bend, twist, and turn, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Availability to work days, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, as per the C.B.A.
