GardaWorld is currently hiring a highly skilled Security Guard and Scheduling Coordinator to join our Protective Services Division business line. This position will be based at our Hamilton office located at 444 Seaman Street, Hamilton.

As a Security Guard/Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating activities between our customers and security guards, communicating with them as needed, and assisting with various site security coverages. You will work full-time, ensuring back-up coverage for various days, nights, afternoons, etc.

The pay rate for this position is estimated to be around $19 per hour, considering the location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and record on/off calls from multiple areas
  • Fulfill vacancies created by absences with suitable replacements
  • Ensure accurate data entry regarding employee lateness, illness, and absence
  • Schedule shifts for guards according to client requests
  • Respond to staff and client inquiries about schedules
  • Document events over shifts at the end of each shift
  • Provide support with ground-level security coverages when necessary
