Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Stars Event Decor. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting conference and meeting services or special events, preparing and managing budgets, and developing sponsorship and partnership programs.
Key Responsibilities- Promote conference and meeting services or special events to attract clients and attendees.
- Prepare and manage budgets for events, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Develop and implement sponsorship and partnership programs to secure funding and resources for events.
- Arrange for the production or purchase of promotional products, such as banners, flyers, and merchandise.
- Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, ensuring seamless execution and attention to detail.
- Coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.
- Implement social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services to enhance the event experience.
- Plan schedules, goals, and objectives for events, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Research and design special events programs, including themes, decorations, and entertainment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or CEGEP degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.

Hours: 40 hours per week
