Extrusion Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Groupe Brunet's PVC NEXT Polymers division in Prescott. As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a crucial role in meeting productivity and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate extrusion lines to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Conduct regular quality checks of produced pipes
  • Complete production documentation
  • Report nonconformities to supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Adhere to health and safety policies
Requirements:
  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Resourceful and independent
  • Mathematical and mechanical skills (asset)
  • Self-organized, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain a forklift license (having one is an asset)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedural and operation manuals and instructions
