Parts Advisor Opportunity

Cochrane Toyota is seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our expanding parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, with a focus on Toyota parts experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers, as well as technicians. They will also be responsible for receiving and storing parts, and maintaining effective communication with staff.

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule, including five days in a row and two days off. The successful candidate will be required to cover occasional shifts for colleagues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Selling parts and accessories to customers
  • Receiving and shipping parts orders
  • Answering phone calls and internet leads
  • Picking daily parts for technicians
  • Responding to service and sale estimates and inquiries
  • Communicating parts information and status updates to staff
  • Completing local deliveries
  • Maintaining and organizing the parts department

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or post-secondary education
  • Detailed knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Ability to multitask and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
