About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire Associate Store 397. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable.
  • Inspect and Test Vehicles: Inspect and test vehicles to identify any issues or defects, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure that our customers' vehicles are well-maintained.
  • Work with Supervisors and Colleagues: Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and processes.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
