Sun Ming Enterprises Ltd is seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment, preparing written estimates of repair costs, and planning service routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair.
- Prepare written estimates of repair costs and present them to customers.
- Plan service routes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts and diagnose faults.
- Repair electrical appliances and components, and replace faulty components as needed.
- Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
- Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Permanent position.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
