Job Summary:
Urgo Hôtels Canada is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two resort hotels in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing operational performance, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Regularly inspect the hotel and follow up on needs with supervisors from relevant departments.

Human Resources Management:
• Communicate effectively and motivate with our teams, setting goals, evaluating performance, and motivating teams to achieve excellence.
• Support directors in the day-to-day management of their teams while respecting budget objectives and operational needs.

Management of Financial and Material Resources:
• Analyze financial statements and control costs, negotiating with suppliers and optimizing inventory management.

Community Relations:
• Maintain a positive presence through a dynamic community that includes several interlocutors, such as the Tremblant Resort Association, Tourisme Mont-Tremblant, and Tourisme Laurentides.

Requirements:

Experience:
• 5 years of experience in high-level management in the hotel industry.

Skills:
• Human management skills.
• Skills in hotel financial management.
• Comfortable with computer systems.
• Bilingualism (French and English); a third language is an asset.
• Training in hotel management or business administration (an asset).
