As a Project Control Analyst at Pomerleau, you will be at the forefront of interactions between the construction site team and the project control function. Working on large-scale projects - ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion - you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to our new industrial department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approval and management of subcontractor reference schedules, monthly updates, and recovery plans;
  • Participation in the development and/or analysis of 3-Week Lookahead schedules (P3S);
  • Contribution to the development and updates of the Project's master schedule;
  • Lead quantity analyses for the purpose of project control, with the help of Quantity surveyors at site;
  • Support implementation and operation of progress assessment innovation tools at site (BIM);
  • Analysis of subcontract performance;
  • Involvement in the development of key performance indicators;
  • Participation in claims analyses;
  • Coordination and writing of Construction weekly and monthly reports to management and/or the client;
  • Participation in the risk management activities at site;
  • Attend all pertinent meetings at site.

Requirements

  • A DEC in administration, construction, or other related field;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in industrial construction projects;
  • Experience using a Project Management Information System;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks;
  • Autonomous.

Additional Assets

  • Fluent in both official languages, written and oral (English and French).
