Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buyer to join our Procurement team at CB Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and procurement, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the competitive bidding process, including formulating and writing RFPs and RFQs.
  • Research and explore metrics and reporting to the Procurement team.
  • Field all enquiries from vendors and provide overall communication throughout the bidding process.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Buyer, preferably in the public sector.
  • Completion of a diploma in material management, business management, or public administration, or equivalent.
  • Ability to prepare RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Time management and organization skills.
