Job Description

Randstad Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing expert-level business analysis services to clients with diverse business and technological needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive business analysis services to clients, including requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand client needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design, implement, and test projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents, user stories, and product backlogs.
  • Conduct feasibility analyses, project scoping, and provide project work estimates.
  • Analyze and map processes/data for current and future states.
  • Requirements development involving elicitation, elaboration, analysis, specification, and validation.
  • Write, refine, and maintain user stories, groom the product, and sprint backlog.
  • Analyze and document accessibility requirements.
  • Plan and support user acceptance testing.
  • Use ministry-mandated requirement management tools and templates for requirements.
  • Review and feedback of technical design documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and test teams in areas such as building and testing, reviewing test strategies, managing defect logs, and performing quality assurance and system integration testing.
  • Define integration and user acceptance test plans, oversee and collaborate on tasks for user acceptance testing, identify and resolve problems/issues, and document and manage risks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in using information retrieval packages, managing user stories with Agile, SCRUM, Lean, DevOps methodologies, and proficiently using SQL queries to analyze data requirements and application business rules.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
  • Experience in business analysis for the development of applications using Java, Siebel, ETL (pl/sql and Informatica), etc.
  • Leads and conducts business analysis to assess clients' business problems/opportunities and documents business requirements for I&IT solutions.
  • Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches.
  • Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of the project.
  • Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
