Salary Range:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $34,836 and $44,138, depending on experience and qualifications.


Job Description:

This role involves providing professional psychosocial assessment and interventions to individuals, families, and groups under the direction of the Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients, families, and groups in coping with and adapting to health-related issues, using the healthcare system effectively and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

Providing skilled psychosocial assessments and interventionsAssisting clients, families, and groups in using the healthcare system effectivelyLeading transitions and relieving co-workers as neededMaintaining excellent working relationships with team membersPerforming administrative tasks as required


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) accredited school or a Provincially authorized post-secondary program. You must also be registered with Manitoba College of Social Workers and have relevant experience in social work.


Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who are competent in an Indigenous language and/or have knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values. The ideal candidate will also have effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines, and a willingness to adapt to new concepts and best practices.
