Clinical Services Specialist

As a Clinical Services Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing disease states, and promoting healthy habits within our communities.

**Job Description**
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Relief Pharmacist who can work independently to achieve excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Providing clinical services, such as disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments
• Prioritizing technical functions and delegating tasks to Pharmacy Assistants when available
• Initiating care plans, following up, and documenting patient interactions
• Coaching pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable)
• Collecting relevant patient, drug, and disease information to identify actual and potential drug-related problems
• Monitoring medication adherence and providing patient counselling for new therapy
• Tailoring counselling to meet the needs and concerns of individual patients, including literacy, hearing loss, privacy, etc.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Above-average communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-directed ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
• Injection Certification
• Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred
**Compensation and Benefits**
We offer competitive total compensation packages that reflect the unique requirements of this role. Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth. **Job Type and Schedule**
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. The job requires working days, evenings, and potentially split shifts.
