Job Overview

New India Curry Mahal is seeking a seasoned Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food services department.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
  • Recruit and train new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Set staff work schedules, taking into account staffing needs and employee availability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing outstanding achievements.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing prompt and courteous resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • A fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring high levels of organization and attention to detail.
  • A client-focused approach, prioritizing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
