About the Opportunity:

As an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist at Shannex Incorporated, you will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the IPAC program.

You will develop, evaluate, and revise IPAC policies and procedures, including outbreak management protocols and pandemic plans.

Additionally, you will research and make recommendations for leading evidence-based IPAC practices and innovations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the IPAC program.
  • Developing, evaluating, and revising IPAC policies and procedures.
  • Researching and making recommendations for leading evidence-based IPAC practices and innovations.
  • Providing clinical support, advice, and education on all aspects of IPAC to employees, students, and volunteers.

About You:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional with a baccalaureate degree in a health-related field or regulated health professional in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in healthcare in an IPAC lead capacity is required.

A strong background in IPAC knowledge and experience in related areas of infectious diseases, microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, epidemiology, data collection, and trend analysis is essential.
