About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to clients in group home settings, promoting independence and community integration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with the support team to create and implement personalized support plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably in a group home setting.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
