Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Wendy's Lacombe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand.
- Replenish condiments and supplies in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relocation costs covered by employer.
