We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at B.C. Ltd.

  • This is a permanent full-time position, with 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have a college or CEGEP education and less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical abilities to identify areas for improvement and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Carry out treatment programs, under the supervision of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Examine patients to gather information about their medical history, symptoms, and treatment options.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent damage and ensure proper functionality.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure availability and organization.
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports to track patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including reception, telephone, and appointment booking.
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, providing guidance and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Manage routine office functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistance or a related field.
  • Less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • English language proficiency.
