About the Role

Mental Health Clinician, Adult Mental Health Outpatient Program

At North York General Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be a vital member of our interprofessional team, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients using evidence-based therapies, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Structured therapies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in education and research activities to advance care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote safe and effective care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Current membership in a regulated professional college or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health.
  • Experience in providing CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief therapies.
