About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part time/Floater Security Officer to join our team in Cambridge & Woodstock, Ontario area. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Job Summary

As a Part time/Floater Security Officer with Securitas Inc., you will be responsible for providing high-quality security services to our clients. Your duties will include access control, visitor verification, parking enforcement, dispatch duties via radio communication, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site, and enforce parking regulations.
  • Dispatch duties via radio communication, accepting all radio calls and responding accordingly.
  • Filling access logs and assigning keys to contractors as needed.
  • Must be willing to be trained on all positions and work all shifts.
  • Traffic management and regular patrols to ensure site security.
  • Investigate incidents of trespassers along fence perimeters and property, deter trespassers from the site, and follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site, including emergency response.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid Full G Driver's license.
  • A clean driver's abstract.
  • Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $18.01 to $20.41 per hour. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits to support your overall well-being and job satisfaction.
