Director, Human Resources

At Macp, we are seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive strategic initiatives that support our organization's growth and success.

About the Role

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for providing executive-level HR leadership, aligning our strategic vision with HR initiatives, and influencing various activities across the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Workforce and Leadership Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and develop leadership capabilities.
  • Employee and Labour Relations: Foster positive employee relations, manage labour disputes, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and productivity.
  • Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to drive business results and improve employee performance.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional with a bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience. A Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL or CHRE) designation or Master's in Industrial Relations (MIR) is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing new technologies, programs, processes, and initiatives, and will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder. Strong analytical skills and experience in strategic planning and data-driven decision-making are essential.
