Job Title: Academic Business Vice President

We are seeking an experienced Academic Business Vice President to join our team at Duke College Inc.

About the Role

The Academic Business Vice President will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions. They will also establish objectives, formulate policies, and represent the organization in official functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
Requirements
  • 11-15 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel internationally
