About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in supporting patient assistance programs. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of these programs, including processing copayment requests, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative tasks such as handling mail, data entry, and filing systems for the program.
  • Copayment Request Processing: Process copayment requests for patients, pharmacies, and/or physicians for programs offering copay assistance or concierge payments.
  • Liaison Roles: Liaise with Program managers to ensure copayment KPIs are met, work with ISI Accounting to ensure proper payment timeframes and accurate payments, and collaborate with 3rd party payment administrators to ensure accurate electronic payment processing.
  • Office Administration: Establish and maintain office files, make appointments, arrange meeting rooms as required, and compile information from various sources for uses such as generating reports.
  • Quality Assurance: Audit and maintain various reports specific to the business location by checking for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies; make corrections and notify appropriate personnel of any modifications.
  • Communication: Draft and type correspondence and/or presentations to be sent to internal and external contacts, and interact frequently with inter-departmental associates and management for resolving workload issues.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects for various departments within the business segment or across multiple business segments as required.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary Education: Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Administrative Experience: 3-5 years' experience in an administrative role in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, proven accuracy when processing large amounts of data, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, adaptability to change, and ability to learn new skills as required.
  • Business Acumen: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ability to represent a positive and professional image, and excellent problem-solving skills.
