Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Dixie Auto Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass components, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace automotive glass components, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a perfect finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including trim and moldings
  • Transport vehicles to and from the work area, as needed
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in automotive glass repair and replacement
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and odors. The role requires standing for extended periods and frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
