About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and crisis management for clients across various service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide evidence-based therapies and interventions to promote mental health and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and community partners

About You

To be successful as a Clinical Therapist, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in a clinical health-related discipline (e.g., social work, psychology, nursing)
  • Current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body or eligibility
  • Minimum two years' related experience, including assessment, planning, treatment, and intervention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Please note that this role requires working in various locations throughout Nova Scotia, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our diverse client population.
