Global Development Advisor

Located in Lima, Peru, Cuso International is seeking a dedicated individual to support the activities and initiatives of the Manuela Ramos Movement.
This volunteer role offers an opportunity to contribute to advancing equality for all individuals and work closely with the staff of the Manuela Ramos Movement (MMR), a feminist organization advocating for women's rights in Peru for over 40 years.
The MMR is committed to building an inclusive, democratic, and sustainable society that values and respects diversity, promoting the autonomous exercise of human rights, particularly for women.
As a volunteer, you will provide meaningful assistance to our partner organization in Peru by contributing to the implementation of the Communication Area's actions, monitoring and tracking indicators, creating content and materials, and assisting in graphic design and audio-visual tasks.
You will also collaborate on managing and monitoring social media accounts and help with photographing and recording material for various programs.
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field and proven expertise in implementing communication campaigns and creating communication materials.
Firm understanding of and dedication to achieving gender equality, aptitude for writing and editing reports and publications, exceptional ability to organize assigned activities efficiently, and capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team are also essential.

The SHARE project aims to improve the economic and/or social well-being of the poorest, most marginalized, and vulnerable people, particularly women and girls, in developing countries, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Cuso International works in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada, delivering projects like SHARE with contributions from Global Affairs Canada (GAC) over seven years (2020-2027).
