The Opportunity:

Clarity Recruitment seeks a seasoned professional to lead our client's payroll and benefits management team. As the Compensation and Employee Benefits Director, you will oversee the administration of global payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees. This role is critical to the company's financial success and involves working closely with various stakeholders to implement cost-saving strategies and improve processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee payroll processes for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with local, federal, and international regulations
  2. Lead the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other employee perks
  3. Develop and implement strategies to streamline payroll and benefits processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and cost savings
  4. Work cross-functionally to support decision-making and enhance employee experience through efficient payroll and benefits management

Requirements:

  • Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits management, preferably in a multi-location setting
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams in dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in payroll procedures and laws for Canada, the US, the UK, and India
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze payroll data and provide insightful recommendations to management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership
