About the Opportunity

At the Hamilton Family Health Team, we are seeking a highly skilled Business and Performance Management Analyst to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. This exciting opportunity will allow you to significantly shape and influence health outcomes for the Hamilton community.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced analyst who can develop, create, and maintain standard reports and performance dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting in-depth financial and operational analyses, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to support timely and informed decision-making.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop automated reporting solutions that streamline data collection and analysis, and utilize Power BI and other reporting tools to visualize business data.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the finance and clinical services teams to provide data-driven insights into performance and service delivery outcomes.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support urgent business needs and special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; healthcare industry experience is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Business/Data Analyst role, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed financial and operational analysis and deliver actionable insights.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
