Post Production Project Coordinator

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Producer to join our team. As a Producer, you will oversee the day-to-day management of each assigned project, acting as a liaison between clients and operations. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service, managing client expectations, and reviewing bids at the beginning of each project. Your duties will include:
- Organizing pre-production meetings for all projects;
- Working with scheduling to schedule artists and resources;
- Ensuring operations is informed of services required by the client and any changes requested;
- Managing internal and external resources required to meet customer needs;
- Routinely reviewing post schedule with clients and providing them regular updates regarding the status of their project;
- Ensuring potential overages are discussed with the client as soon as possible;
- Working with scheduling and finance to ensure work orders are created and reconciled in a timely manner;
- Preparing documentation to support accurate invoicing procedures;
- Collaborating with other production and operations team members to prioritize, organize and assign work received by the department.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior working experience in a client-facing post-production environment;
- The ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively both unsupervised and collaboratively with internal departments;
- A comprehensive knowledge of the post-production process for both feature and episodic picture and sound;
- An understanding of the post-production scheduling process and the concept of deadlines therein;
- Knowledge of Xytech MediaPulse or other post-production scheduling software (an asset);
- Experience with the Quality Control process and reports (an asset);
- Experience with studio and broadcaster delivery specs (an asset);
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle all that is involved in a demanding post-production environment;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn and process information quickly;
- Possess solid keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, OneDrive).
