As an Administrative Associate within our ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Management team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting the overall success of our Wealth Advisors.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring effective administration and day-to-day trading of business, providing high levels of client service through timely and responsive support, managing administrative processes and escalations requiring investigation, and consistently demonstrating exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Administration: Ensure efficient management of all administrative processes and escalations, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Client Service: Deliver outstanding client service by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and effecting transactions in a timely manner.
  • Marketing Assistance: Collaborate with the Wealth Advisor team to develop marketing strategies, coordinate materials and events, and identify opportunities to grow assets and revenue.
  • Business Growth: Support the growth of the business by managing tracking reports, reviewing targets, recommendations, and financial plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with various departments and business line contacts by actively collaborating, sharing knowledge, and experience.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record in the securities industry.
  • Duly registered as an Investment Representative (IR) with CIRO or willing to become so.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional client service skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
