Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in the Lindsay-area.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • To provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • To utilize sound nursing practices to ensure the delivery of excellent care to residents.
  • To ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges of residents.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and family members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to deal with others in an effective, compassionate, and supportive manner.
  • Familiarity with the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent legislation.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
