Job Title: Senior Architectural Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Designer to join our team at Turner Fleischer. As an Intermediate Design Professional, you will play a key role in bridging creativity and technical expertise to contribute meaningfully to projects balancing aesthetics and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and refine design concepts and/or development of detailed plans and construction documents leveraging BIM (Building Information Modeling) ensuring adherence to project requirements and design intent.

- Prepare and/or coordinate drawings/documents primarily utilizing Revit in accordance with client specifications, budget, applicable building codes, and project timelines with the support and guidance of our team.

- Maintain a good working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws.

- Attend site visits, meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipalities.

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture.

- 1 - 3 years of progressively more responsible roles within Architecture firms.

- Proficient experience in Revit, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws with experience in the municipal approval process.

- Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.
