We are seeking a highly skilled Meat Specialist to join our retail team at Langes Country Meats.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary in the range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience. As a Meat Specialist, you will be working closely with our customers to ensure their satisfaction with our products.
You will also be responsible for pricing meat products, weighing meats for sale, and organizing and maintaining inventory. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with various equipment and machinery, including band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, sausage machines, and slicing machines.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
