Job Description:

This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced LPN to join our dynamic team at Sprott Shaw College's dermatology clinic. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where they can utilize their skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
  • Take patient histories and perform basic medical procedures as directed by our physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients on self-care, medication management, and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in dermatology nursing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration within the provincial licensing body.
  • 2+ years of private or public practice nursing experience.
  • Previous experience in the dermatology sector is an asset.
