Role SummaryWe are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity to practice nursing in leading GTA hospitals, share best practices, and learn from top medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent patient and family-centered care in a supportive and culturally sensitive manner
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of care providers, emphasizing assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of patient health
- Develop strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, physicians, staff, and volunteers
- Demonstrate professional accountability for your practice and identify opportunities for learning and growth
- Contribute to maintaining a healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety policies
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 1-2 years of experience in an acute medical or surgical care unit preferred
- Current BCLS and ACLS certification
- Completion of Critical Care Certificate required (or within 6 months from hire)
- Experience in critical care setting an asset
- Ability to speak another language is an asset
