Strategic Provider Services Director

Express Scripts Canada, a subsidiary of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Strategic Provider Services Director to lead the direction and growth of our Provider Services business unit. As a key member of our Canadian executive team, this leader will work closely with peer functions across the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the Provider Services strategy, leading and managing ongoing operations, including provider contract management and Call Centre. They will also develop and adhere to operational budgets, quality and service standards, while fostering provider and industry partnerships to support the expansion of the Provider Services business.

This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, articulate, and build solutions that improve the overall provider experience and drive key business goals. We are looking for an outcome-driven individual who can work closely with stakeholders to facilitate a provider strategy, develop a roadmap, and prioritize work based on key engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the vision, business model, and processes to deliver an exceptional provider services experience
  • Facilitate the strategy and approach for provider services, leveraging stakeholder inputs, and create refined business cases for future investments
  • Build strong relationships with pharmacy chains, banners, and associations
  • Manage the overall Provider Services business unit, developing, motivating, and evaluating the leadership team and employees to ensure quality and service standards are met
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate policies
  • Promote better health decisions for plan members while managing and reducing drug benefit costs for plan sponsors
  • Interact effectively with senior leaders, presenting insights and strategies that drive corporate goals
  • Manage special projects as assigned by senior management

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (based on location)
