Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at SIDH TRUCK TRANSPORTATION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of transportation services.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of dispatchers and radio operators, transportation route and crew schedulers.
  • Logistics and Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the establishment of work schedules and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and provide technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
