Bakery Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at 12695430 Canada Inc. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing a team of bakers, and ensuring that our bakery runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes and special customer orders.
  • Team Management: Train and supervise a team of bakers, including scheduling staff, inspecting kitchen and food service areas, and ensuring that quality standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and make adjustments as needed to maintain high-quality production.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Certifications: Baker Trade Certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced bakery environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
