Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to clients in need of housing assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client situations and determine the types of services required
  • Refer clients to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment, and other services
  • Apply for social program funding
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress
Work Environment

You will be working in an urban area, interacting with a diverse range of clients, including adults, elderly individuals, females, males, and people with personal or social adjustment difficulties.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Criminal record check and child welfare check
