About the Role

Harris Computer is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mergers and Acquisitions team, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the M&A Team: Collaborate with our M&A team to screen and research potential company targets, ensuring they meet our investment profile.
  • Drive Acquisition Efforts: Directly solicit and engage companies to explore potential acquisition opportunities, leveraging your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Maintain Relationships: Foster and maintain relationships with our existing network of acquisition targets through regular communication and updates.
  • Communicate Harris' Investment Strategy: Effectively communicate Harris' investment approach and ensure that the investment process is handled with care and professionalism.
  • Track and Report Activities: Utilize Salesforce CRM to track activities and maintain relevant information, generating reports on leads and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of direct experience in inside sales, business development, or M&A sourcing.
  • Aptitude and Passion: Demonstrated aptitude and passion for inside sales, lead generation, and mining new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional Skills: Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
