Carbon Project Manager Lead

At Climate Forest, we are committed to forest conservation and sustainable development. We are seeking a skilled Carbon Project Manager Lead to oversee our Canada-based forestry carbon initiatives.
This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from design to verification and registration. You will work closely with landowners, forestry experts, and stakeholders to implement projects that align with carbon standards in Canada and beyond.
The successful candidate will have experience in carbon project development, preferably in the forestry sector. A strong understanding of carbon markets, accounting, and standards is essential. Familiarity with forest management practices, afforestation, reforestation, and forest conservation is also required.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of carbon forestry projects, including feasibility assessments, project design, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with landowners and forestry experts to implement sustainable forest management plans.
- Conduct carbon stock assessments, baseline studies, and monitoring of carbon sequestration potential.
