Master Mixologist

Be a Part of Our Cocktail Creation Process

We're looking for a talented Master Mixologist to join our team at Norca restaurant, located inside of Le Germain Ottawa. As a passionate bartender, you'll be responsible for developing our drinks menu, making wine list selections, and sharing the latest trends with your peers. Our ideal candidate is an outstanding customer service person with a natural talent for communication who listens to others and takes their needs and expectations into consideration in everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the smooth running of the bar.
2. Train, support and motivate team members in their tasks and development.
3. Share the bar's needs with the person in charge of food and beverage supplies so as to always have the right quantities on hand.
4. Comply with current laws and regulations regarding alcohol.
5. Check equipment and product storage to ensure the establishment's cleanliness and safety standards are met at all times.

What We're Looking For:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of two years' experience as a senior bartender.
3. Positive and effective leadership to inspire and mobilize a team.
4. Sharp knowledge of cocktail creation and trends around alcohol, beer and wine.
5. Good physical fitness: standing for several hours at a time, lift/carry loads of up to 50 lb.
6. Knowledge of restaurant cash register systems.
