Regional Addiction Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Regional Addiction Care Specialist to join our team at the Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres (OATC). This is a full-time temporary position with an estimated salary of $28,600 per year.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will travel regionally with the flexibility to work within a delegated model for patients on opioid agonist treatment within a clinic environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional services to multiple regional locations
- Operating professionally, ethically, and with integrity within the guidelines and standards of the Ontario College of Nurses
- Dispensing and administering medications as delegated by a licensed Physician
- Collaborating with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate treatment plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completion of a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Previous experience in addiction treatment and/or a similar field
- Ability to travel and access to a personal vehicle
- A member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
- Completes yearly CNO Quality Assurance certification
