About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team at Kusuhara Law Corporation. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise Clients: Provide expert legal advice to clients on various matters related to law, including contract review, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage Cases: Manage and plead cases before courts of law, tribunals, and boards, ensuring that our clients' interests are represented effectively.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate settlements of civil disputes on behalf of our clients, utilizing your expertise and negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Represent Interests: Represent the interests of our clients in all business-related legal matters, ensuring that their rights are protected and their interests are advanced.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, articling students, and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
Requirements
  • Education: Earned doctorate degree in law (LLB, JD, BCL) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a private company, corporation, or industry.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
