Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Strategic Sales and Relationship Development Manager. This role will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities in the greater Ontario and Quebec regions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain and grow established sales territory in Central & Eastern Canada.
  • Focus on heavy sales activity in the aerospace structural sector, while also serving customers in other markets such as space, defense, aerospace distribution, medical, energy, and industrial.
  • Manage an existing customer base with a minimum sustained territory size of $10 to $15 million.
  • Territory includes many key accounts, as well as some transactional and strategic accounts.
  • Spend up to 25% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products.
  • Collaborate closely with regional director, application engineers, and regional metallurgists to meet customer needs through innovation and service.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements


This position requires a high school diploma, preferably with a four-year college degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales/relationship management experience, preferably in the metals industry or industrial sales in the field of manufacturing.


They should possess proficient knowledge of markets and pricing practices/policies, as well as strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills.


Able to resolve conflicts and arrive at good business decisions, they must also be an open, candid communicator with superior negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills.


Compensation and Benefits


This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 401k with company contributions, and many other options.
