We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab First Inc. in Hamilton, ON.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with Rehab First Inc., you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide treatment to clients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical and cognitive capacities, mobility, and attendant care needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique requirements.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions in clinic, community, home, or workplace settings.
  • Prepare and submit detailed case notes and reports.
Requirements
  • MSc. Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing or in process of registration as a new grad.
  • Experience working in healthcare settings, preferably in the community.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Health Care Consent Act, Mental Health Act).
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.
